Registrations open now: AceForm4.0 Workshop: Formulation Scale-up in Industry4.0

September 7th, 2017

On 3 October 2017 Flamac and the AceForm4.0 group will organise a workshop on Formulation scale-up in Industry4.0 at the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineers – WWCE10 in Barcelona.

Workshop Programme

Title: How Industry4.0 can accelerate and improve your formulation scale-up process.

Participants will be introduced to the main challenges of formulation scale-up in the chemical industry and discover case studies presented by academics and industrial experts. Next, an Industry4.0 expert will present and develop the potential solutions brought by digital technology to solve formulation scale-up challenges.

During the second part of the workshop, there will be time to exchange ideas and brainstorm in small groups with stakeholders from different formulation sectors (pharmaceuticals, paints, cosmetics, consumer products…). Workshop participants will get the rare chance to potentially influence future European funded project calls on scale-up issues.

– Industry4.0 expert (to be announced)

This workshop is part of a European networking project AceForm4.0. The project’s aim is to establish a European formulation community with strong internal connections and generate a common roadmap that could influence European calls for funding in the fields of Industry4.0 (or digitalisation) and Circular Economy during the next 15 years.
The workshops are one of the key actions in the project and a unique opportunity for participants to open their horizons to new R&D perspectives.
