Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Flamac, a division of SIM vzw (Strategisch Initiatief Materialen in Vlaanderen), announce the start-up of a strategic collaboration. This collaboration aims to develop and use unique high-throughput formulation technologies and is co-funded by the Flemish government. This will strengthen P&G’s power for research and innovation for the different businesses via open innovation collaboration with FLAMAC.
Flamac is a research centre in high-throughput methods which supports the chemical and materials industries. It offers its services in either collaborative or multi-disciplinary government sponsored research projects as well as via bilateral contract research. Flamac is a division of the Strategic Initiative Materials (SIM). SIM is subsidised by the Flemish Government. Its mission is to enhance strategic collaboration between knowledge institutes and the materials & chemical industries in Flanders.
