International workshop (22-25 June 2011)

“Speeding up the development of materials”

Flamac and Dechema have great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the fourth international workshop on Combinatorial Materials Research. This workshop will focus on several topics, including catalysts, polymers, formulations, coatings, advanced materials and data management.

High-throughput and combinatorial methods offer an efficient tool to vary chemical composition and material processing. Consequently, there is a great deal of interest within the industry in using HTE in materials R&D. In addition to the invited speakers, there will be several poster presentations, with prizes for the best ones. The workshop will also offer an introduction to novel
high-throughput demonstration experiments, specially designed for teaching laboratories in universities.

I hope that this will be a good opportunity to meet you in Ghent, a city that is rich in architecture from various periods and also has
so much more to offer (one of Lonely Planet’s top 10 cities for 2011!). I look forward to welcoming you in June at the NH Ghent Belfort Hotel.
